Movement for Communities
Everyone deserves the chance to experience the freedom of movement.
Not everyone feels able to walk into a dance studio, yet every body deserves the opportunity to move, connect and express itself.
For many years I've worked alongside people navigating disability, addiction, grief, mental health challenges and social isolation. Again and again, I've seen how movement can create connection, confidence and joy where words often fall short.
That's why I'm passionate about bringing 5Rhythms-inspired conscious movement into communities that may not otherwise have access to it.
Inclusive movement for every body
I create welcoming, adaptable movement sessions for people of all ages and abilities, including:
-
Mixed-ability groups
-
SEND organisations
-
Older adults
-
Recovery communities
-
Community wellbeing projects
-
Schools and youth groups
-
Residential and supported living settings
-
Prisons and rehabilitation programmes
No dance experience is needed.
There are no steps to learn, no performance and no pressure to get anything right. Everyone is invited to move in a way that feels authentic for them.

What participants experience
Every session is shaped around the needs of the group, creating a safe and supportive environment where people can:
-
Build confidence through movement
-
Express themselves without judgement
-
Develop creativity and curiosity
-
Strengthen connection with others
-
Reduce stress and improve wellbeing
-
Experience the simple joy of moving together
Movement has a unique way of helping us reconnect with ourselves and with each other. Sometimes that connection is the beginning of something much bigger.
Bringing movement to your community
Whether you're a charity, community organisation, school, care setting or wellbeing project, I'd love to explore how conscious movement could support the people you work with. Every group is different, so sessions are always tailored to your community's needs, abilities and environment. To help you experience the work first-hand, I offer a free introductory taster session for new organisations.
Let's start a conversation
If you're curious about bringing movement into your community, I'd love to hear from you. Together we can create a space where people feel welcome, connected and free to move in their own unique way.
